Dmitri Korneev

A graduate of the Russian Academy of Music (Gnessin) in
Moscow, Mr. Korneev is a freelance accompanist. He currently
serves as a staff accompanist at Call School of Music.
He is also actively involved in vocal auditions and
regional competitions for singers. Before coming to
New Jersey, Dmitri worked at the University of Texas
in San Antonio and was principal accompanist at the
San Antonio Lyric Opera. As
a solo pianist Dmitri spent several years giving recitals
throughout Russia, Greece, Italy and United States.
His performances in the States have included such prestigious
concert halls as Carnegie Hall and United Nations Concert
Hall in New York. Mr. Korneev also participated in master
classes held by Claude Frank and Arkady Aronov as well
as in La Belle Epoque Festival in New York. In
1998 he became a laureate of the International Piano
Competition IBLA Grand Prize in Italy. His other awards
include several scholarships at Mannes College of Music
and Russian Academy of Music.

Crystl Sonomura Baltazar maintains the roles of both
performing artist and educator. A native of Honolulu,
Hawaii, she is a graduate of the University of Hawaii
and the Eastman School of Music. As a collaborative
arts specialist, she accompanies and coaches in many
of the voice and instrumental studios in the department,
as well as performing with faculty in recital. As
a soloist, Ms. Baltazar won awards in the Young Keyboard
Artist's Association and International Piano Recording
Competitions. Also notable are collaborations in recitals
with International Horn Competition Winner, Karl Pituch,
and masterclass studies with Dalton Baldwin and Malcolm
Bilson. She has performed in several concert series,
as well as seasons with the Honolulu Symphony and Chamber
Music Hawaii. Her teaching credits include Nazareth
College and the New Jersey School of Arts. In
addition, she freelances for various vocal, choral and
chamber venues in the New York metro area. She is currently pursuing her doctorate.

David Brown

David Brown received his Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the Crane School of Music (SUNY-Potsdam) and Masters in Music and Music Education from Columbia University. He has also studied piano privately with Robert Guralnik, Morris Borenstein and Ada Kopetz-Korf. Before coming to Montclair State, he performed extensively as an accompanist and recitalist throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskill regions of New York State. One such performance as an accompanist in a program of Schubert, Debussy and Puccini prompted a critic from The Times Herald Record to write: "I particularly admire the way he draws colors from the keyboard that are appropriate to the mood of each piece." He has performed both classical and jazz music live on the WAMC Northeast Public Radio Network.and has served as music director for over 50 musical theater productions - including works of Sondheim, Lerner/Loewe, and Marc Blitztein. He ran a successful piano studio for over 20 years.

Allison Brewster Franzetti received her Bachelor of Music degree
from the Manhattan School of Music and her Master of Music degree from the Juilliard
School. An accomplished accompanist and chamber musician, she has
collaborated with many artists, including
Sir James Galway, John Corigliano, Stephen Paulus, Lowell Liebermann, Ransom
Wilson, Eugenia Zukerman, Julius Baker, Robert White, and members of major US and
international symphony orchestras. A multiple Grammy Nominee, Ms. Brewster Franzetti has performed solo recitals throughout the US, Mexico, Europe, Argentina and Japan, including concerts at Merkin Hall (New York), Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires), and Wigmore Hall (London). Among her many recorded performances are the piano
solo for the 2006 American/Argentine film, Tango Fatal, the 2005
Argentine/French film, Ronda Noctuma, and the 2003 French/Spanish film, Dans Ie
rouge du couchant, as well as the works of Berg, Hindemith, Scriabin and Ravel. Orchestral performances include concerts with the Brooklyn Philharmonic (featured on NBC-TV News), Long Island Philharmonic, English Sinfonia, Denver Symphony, and the Colonial
Symphony. She played the world premiere of Piano Concerto No.
2 by Carios Franzetti, commissioned for her as part of their 50th anniversary season, with the Teatro Colon with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Buenos
Aires. She performed and recorded its European premiere with the Janacek Philharmonic (Amapola
Records).

Gila Goldstein holds a Master of Music from the Manhattan
School of Music where she studied with Nina Svetlanova
and a Bachelor of Music from the Tel-Aviv University's
Academy of Music, where her teacher was Victor Derevianko. She has performed as a solo artist and collaborative
pianist throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico,
Europe, Southeast Asia & Israel. Among her most
notable engagements were performances at Merkin and Steinway Halls in New York City, the Purcell
Room in London, Konzerthaus
in Berlin, Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Gardner Museum in Boston, Dame Myra Hess
concert, Symphony
Hall in Chicago, Musée de Louvre in Paris, Pallacio de Bellas
Artes in Mexico City, Henry Crown Hall in Jerusalem
and the Tel Aviv Museum. A Board member of the American Liszt Society (ALS) and
the Founder-President of its NY/NJ Chapter, Gila is a frequent guest performer at the ALS annual
festivals and at the Great Romantics International Festival
in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). She is a champion of the music of Israel's leading composer, Paul
Ben-Haim, and has recorded two volumes
of his entire piano works and three chamber works.
Carolyn Guzski

Pianist Carolyn Guzski performs frequently in New York and throughout the United States, and has been heard at Alice Tully Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and the Juilliard Theater. Past seasons have included concerts in Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, as well as broadcasts over WNCN and Voice of America. As an opera coach, Ms. Guzski has participated in seasons of the Florida Grand Opera, the Lake George Opera Festival, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Orvieto Musica festival in the Umbria region of Italy. In addition to performance degrees from Peabody Conservatory and the Juilliard School, she holds a Ph.D. in musicology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and has served on the musical staff of the Mannes College of Music and on the faculties of Hunter College, Queens College, and Brooklyn College in New York City.

Tatyana
Kebuladze, is a native of Ukraine, where she graduated
from the Gliere State Music College, the alma mater
of virtuoso Vladimir Horowitz. As a pianist for four
years with the New Jersey Children's Choir, Ms. Kebuladze
has accompanied the choir in concerts in New York and
on their Canadian tour. She was also a guest artist
with the New Jersey Chamber Music Society.
Ms. Kebuladze graduated with honors from Montclair State
University, where she received various awards, including
the School of the Arts Talent Award with full tuition
scholarship. Tatyana holds a Master in Music degree
from Rutgers University. In addition to her work at
MSU, she is an adjunct faculty member at Westminster
Choir College.

Han Kim has won numerous competitions including
the Yale Gordon Competition, the Yook Young Competition,
the Piano Music Competition, and Nan Pa Music Competition. She
received her Bachelor of Music degree from Seoul
National University in 1991. In 1992, she began studies with concert pianist Ann Schein
at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore (MD), where
she received her Master of Music and Doctor of
Musical Arts degrees. She has performed
throughout the United States, Canada, South Korea,
and China. She has performed
with members of the Maia String Quartet, Ceruti String
Quartet, the Anchor Trio, and
soprano Hyunah Yu. Kim has won the Clara Ascherfeld
Accompanying Award, Peabody Career Development Grant. She has studied at summer festivals such
as the Aspen Music Festival, the Orford Arts Center,
and the Kent Blossom Summer Chamber Music Festival and
participated in master classes by Mennahem Pressler,
Leon Fleisher, Abbey Simon, Jörg Demus, Sergei
Dorensky and Gabby Casadesus.

Mary Pinto received her Bachelor's in piano performance from DePauw University in Indiana. She continued her studies by getting Master's in vocal accompanying and coaching at the University of Illinois in Chapaign-Urbana with John Wustman (accompanist for Luciano Pavarotti). Upon graduaton, she worked as a coach and accompanist at the Lyric Opera Center for American Artists (Chicago), at the Dallas Opera, San Antonio Lyric Opera, Omaha Opera, Florentine Opera (Milwaukee, WI).

Pianist Steven Ryan has performed solo, chamber and orchestral concerts in the United States and Europe, and is a distinguished accompanist and vocal coach. He has served as an orchestral keyboardist with most of the major orchestras in New York City, played celesta with the Berlin Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall and performed on the synthesizer with the Moody Blues rock band. He regularly performs with several orchestras in the northeast, including the American Symphony, Riverside Symphony and the New Jersey Philharmonic. As a vocal accompanist Mr. Ryan has performed with such noted singers as Lucy Shelton, Irene Gubrud, Paul Sperry. He has been an avid vocal accompanist and voice coach throughout his career. He has been privileged to work with eminent artists such as Frederica Von Stade, Catherine Malfitano, Carmen Pelton, Milagro Vargas and the Wagnerian soprano Linda Kelm.
Mr. Ryan earned his Bachelors of Music from the University of Minnesota. While in Minneapolis, he had the honor of assisting Neville Marriner as a rehearsal pianist, often working one-on-one with him and his guest soloists. He also appeared with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Charles Dutoit.
